How does the date and maths drive the response to COVID 19?

The COVID 19 disease has effected everyone globally. For example, in the U.S there has been 2,179 confirm cases. This is a exponential curve graph. Experts predict that as the number of cases were to continue to increase to “double every three days,” it would lead to about a hundred million cases in the U.S by May. The spread can be slowed down if people were to practice “social distancing,” suggested by public health professionals.
